Eden Reforestation ProjectsUpdated 8 months ago
We support the Eden Reforestation Project to restore landscapes on a large scale. This creates jobs, protects ecosystems and mitigates climate change. Our collaboration with this project to date has enabled us to plant over 500,000 trees, making an active contribution to improving our planet.
The need to restore the environment
New evidence and research shows that planting trees alone is not enough to fully address the global challenges of poverty and landscape degradation. Eden has therefore expanded its strategy and is now working with us to focus on landscape restoration.
This holistic approach not only creates environmental benefits, but also strengthens the independence of local communities by providing them with income opportunities while effectively addressing invasive pest species and fire management.
The role of Eden Reforestation
The Eden Reforestation Project has over 241,150 hectares under its management to date and is active in five countries. It employs over 6,070 people in underserved areas. We are proud to invest part of our income in projects that not only plant trees but also tackle the root causes of poverty.
Future plans and visions
Our goal is to continue and expand these efforts to promote a long-term sustainable relationship between people and nature. We invite you to join us in restoring the environment through reforestation and supporting vulnerable communities in the long term. For every order, we will continue to plant a tree, allowing you to make a real positive difference in this world without any extra effort.
